Outreach

Intergenerational

In September 2010 we began our first Intergenerational Parent/Child Music Together class at Atria Manresa in Annapolis.  What a joy
it has been sharing music every week with the residents who attend our classes along with the children and their families.

Special needs

Move & Groove began offering Music Together Preschool in September 2011 to the Cisco Center; a preschool in Severna Park
serving families and children with special needs.

Community Support

Move & Groove  regularly donates to many child-centered organizations, as well as preschools, auctions and fund-raisers.

In the spring of 2010 we began our Reaching Out projects, which provided us the opportunity to work alongside our families
in helping others. Our first project involved sending care packages to troops in Iraq, and was well received by the troops and by
the families who chose to get involved.

In the winter of 2011 we participated in a
fund-raising effort on behalf of the Cisco Center in Severna Park.  The center, who serves children with special needs had been victims of a devastating fire in February 2010.

Twice a year we plan
to offer these projects (one global and one local), and come together as a community to make a difference.
